May 30 is the 50th birthday of Nasrin Sotoudeh, brave Iranian lawyer imprisoned for defending human rights.

importance that we must stand with Nasrin Sotoudeh, who is in her third
year of imprisonment for doing her work as a human rights lawyer.

unmask, and condemn Iran’s massive domestic repression — what the great
Soviet dissident Andre Sakharov called “the mobilization of shame
