The List Of Political Prisoners In Masjed Soleiman Prison

The following report is a short explanation about the situation of Masjed Soleiman prison, a small prison which has been mostly mentioned in the media in these years because it has been used as political prisoners’ exile and now at least five political prisoners are currently held there.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Masjed Soleiman prison is a small prison in which more than 500 prisoners are held in three wards.
“Ward one” of this prison is dedicated to prisoners with violent crimes and more than 200 prisoners are held there.
“Ward two” with more than 200 prisoners is dedicated to prisoners with drug crimes which is known as “methadone ward” as well.
“Ward three” of Masjed Soleiman prison with more than 50 prisoners is dedicated to workers and prisoners with financial crimes and also five political prisoners are held in this ward.
The following list is the names of five political prisoners with their charges and sentences who are held in Masjed Soleiman prison:
1. Changiz Moghadampour, waging war against God through communication and cooperation with the Kurdish parties, 30 years imprisonment in exile.
2. Saeed Salavati, waging war against God through communication and cooperation with the Kurdish parties, 15 years imprisonment in exile.
3. Hamed Rigi, waging war against God through communication and cooperation with the Jundallah party, 15 years imprisonment in exile.
4. Ghader Rigi, waging war against God through communication and cooperation with the Jundallah party, 10 years imprisonment in exile.
5. Abdolghader Bazyani, waging war against God through communication and cooperation with the Jundallah party, 10 years imprisonment in exile
