A footage from public hanging on Wednesday in the city of Karaj, near Tehran, shows the hangmen beating up the prisoner for asking to see his mother before being killed
As the henchmen denied him final request to see his mother, the prisoner knocked off one of the hangmen from the gallows box and overturned the hanging bench.
The henchmen finally hanged the man before letting him to see his mother for the last time.
