HRANA News Agency – 5 prisoners have been hanged in the Central Prison of Birjand.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 5 prisoners have been executed on charge of drug trafficking in the Central Prison of Birjand on June 19th.
One of the executed prisoners was from Afghanistan and is identified as Molavi Rahimollah. He had been serving 2 years in prison before execution.
The Iranian state run media has not published the report of these exectuions yet.
