Navid Khanjani has been transeferred to the hospital
HRANA News Agency – Navid Khanjani the human rights activist has been
transferred to one of the Tehran hospitals from Rajaie Shahr prison due
to heart and respiratory diseases and spinal problems.
According to the report of the committee of human rights reporters,
this Baha’i citizen and former member of the committee of human rights
reporters was transferred to the hospital on August 3 by the
recommendation of the prison doctors because of critical health
condition and heart disease.
Navid Khanjani was
arrested once more in 2010 by the security forces and was under arrest
around two months. Then he was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment by
branch 26 of revolutionary court and the verdict was confirmed by
supreme court.
Khanjani who was arrested again due
to the volunteer rescuers of Tabriz dossier, on september 5, 2012 was
transferred to the quarantine ward of Rajaie Shahr prison for the
verdict enforcement.
He was accused to roorback,
disturbing the public and propagating against the regime by releasing
news, reports and interviewing with the foreign medias, membership in
the committee of human rights reporters and forming the group of
deprived students from study.
