Baha’i young guys arrested to serve in military service

Semnan intelligence agents raided the Baha’i people houses, arrested and inspected their homes with excuse of being called to serve as soldier in military.

According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the Semnan Intelligence agents raided those Baha’i families who have young son not served in military yet with an official warrant signed by someone whose name is Zamani and is solicitor-general of revolutionary court then inspected all of their homes completely including the religious books, laptops, the personal belongings and handed over the arrested young guys to the police.

One day later in police station the arrested guys were asked to fill in and sign a form according to which whenever they get summoned they will show up. Finally they were released on bail.

Omid Pirasteh, Ardeshir Fanaiyan, Orakhsh Hedayati and Soroush Firouzian were arrested and got freed on bail.

One of the Baha’i citizens haunted to police headquarter to follow up the intention of arrests that they told him since many years ago the law of arresting the eligible ones for military service has been cancelled and the arrests of these Baha’is took place by another department.

4 prisoners hanged in Bandar Abbas prison

HRANA News Agency – 3 prisoners have been hanged on charge of drug trafficking as well as one other on charge of rape in Bandar Abbas central prison.

According to a report by IRIB, the prosecutor of Hormozgan province said yesterday November 27th: “One rapist and 3 drug dealers have been hanged today morning.”

“The judiciary will punish those who are disturbing the security and order of the society and no excuses are accepted.” Akbari added.

وخامت وضعیت جسمی رضا شهابی در زندان اوین

خبرگزاری هرانا - رضا شهابی فعال کارگری در بند در پی بحران بیماری خود به بهداری زندان اوین منتقل شد.
بنا به اطلاع گزارشگران هرانا، ارگان خبری مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر در ایران، عصر شنبه ۲ آذر ماه رضا شهابی به‌دلیل کمر درد شدید و بی‌حسی پا‌ها بصورت اورژانسی به بهداری زندان اوین منتقل می‌شود.
یک منبع آگاه به گزارشگر هرانا گفت: "رضا شهابی دیگر قادر به راه رفتن نبود ولی در اعتراض به وضعیت اسماعیل برزگری که ۳۲مین روز اعتصاب غذای خود را پشت سر می‌گذاشت و عدم رسیدگی به وضعیت پزشکی و خواسته‌های وی و نیز محمد جراحی و شاهرخ زمانی قصد رفتن به بهداری را نداشت. زمانی که همبندیان رضا شهابی وی را به بهداری زندان منتقل کردند پزشک بهداری (آقای دکتر بحرینی) تنها به تزریق آمپول مسکن و کورتون اکتفا کرده و وی دوباره به بند ۳۵۰ منتقل می‌شود."
وی در مورد وضعیت فعلی رضا شهابی بیان داشت: "وی در وضعیت وخیمی به سر می‌برد. به طوریکه به هنگام راه رفتن به صورت دولا و لنگ لنگان و به سختی قادر به حرکت است."
این منبع در ادامه گفت: "سعید متین‌پور دیگر زندانی سیاسی زندان اوین که دچار انحراف ستون فقرات و دردهای مضمن کمر است تا کنون نه به مرخصی رفته و نه برای وضعیت جسمانی‌اش به مراکز درمانی اعزام گشته است

Esmail Barzgari is transferred to solitary


HRANA News Agency – Despite being on the 32nd day of hunger strike, Esmail Barzgari has been transferred to solitaries of Evin prison today afternoon.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the authorities have told him that he is going to the clinic but instead he was moved to the solitary confinement.

He has met his interrogator on Sunday in presence of Hamidi, the judicial adjutancy of the Evin prison. During this meeting he denied all the charges and reminded them of the behavior they had with him.

He had been asking for retrial several times, however the judicial authorities have each time threatened him

11 prisoners hanged in Ghezel Hesar prison / Ward 2 on Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Following the execution of 10 men and a woman on charge of drug trafficking in Ghezel Hesar prison, 1800 prisoners of ward 2 went on hunger strike.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 11 prisoners including 10 men from Ghezel Hesar prison and a woman from Gharchak prison of Varamin were transferred to solitaries of Ghezel Hesar prison for execution.

A prisoner of Ghezel Hesar prison told to HRANA’s reporter: “All the executed ones were from ward 2 where the death row prisoners are kept in. After these executions all prisoners of this ward went on hunger strike.”

“We did not get the food which is given to us by the prison and gave the food which we had bought from the prison shop to the guard room.” He stated about the hunger strike.

“There are 3000 death row prisoners in this ward. We want our cases to be retreated and the death penalties to be repealed.” He said about their demands.

There are some reports about the hunger strike in wards 1 and 4 too which is not confirmed yet.

A 16 years old blogger arrested in Boushehr

Darius Pour Said, chairman of the FETA Police in Boushehr province, announced the arrest of a 16 years old blogger.
According to a report by ISNA, the chief of FETA police of Boushehr province said the teen, whose name was not released, has been arrested on charge of “the act of publishing and promoting vulgarity and Westsexual content.”
Darius Pour Said said: “After transferring the juvenile to police headquarters, where he claimed that he was deceived by his friends to start a blog and was intended to manipulate and plan programs and images that are similar to what is reported in some satellite channels broadcast.

Six Sunni prisoners are on hunger strike in Evin prison


HRANA News Agency – Six Sunni prisoners of conscientious, who were sentenced to death, are on their 15th days of hunger strike in solitary confinement, in ward 240 of Evin prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), two of these prisoners, with the names of Mamusta Kaveh Veysi and Mokhtar Rahimi, have been transferred from Rajai Shahr prison to solitary confinement of ward number 240 of Evin prison.

The four others, with the names of, Kaveh Sharifi, Behrouz Shahnazari, Taleb Maleki and Shahram Ahmadi have been transferred to ward 240 of Evin prison, on October 9.

An informed source told to HRANA’s reporter: “These six Sunni prisoners of conscientious, who are kept in solitary confinement, are on their 15th days of their hunger strike. These prisoners are kept in level two of ward 240, which is under control of intelligence and security service and cannot be monitored by the national organization for prisons. Since their transfers, they could have only one telephone call, which was disconnected when they started to talk about their bad condition in prison. They also are deprived from having visitors.”

He added, “Considering the fact that all of these six prisoners are facing with death penalty, their families are very concern that sentences will be carried out, after Moharam month”.

Iran: A prisoner hanged in Zahedan, two others hanged in public


The Iranian regime hanged a prisoner on Monday, November 18, in the central prison of Zahedan.

The executed is identified as Rahmatollah Gomshazhi and had been in prison for 10 years.

Prior to this, the Iranian regime's Henchmneb had publicly hanged two cousins on November 9, in the city of Mashhad, according to the reports from Iran.

Inmates in intolerable condition in Maraghe without basic facilities

– The winter is coming and Azerbaijan province is a cold and mountainous region in Iran but the Maraghe prison authorities did not do any preparations in terms of running heating system.

A source told HRANA reporter “The inmates of Maraghe prison expressed their protestations verbally and written to both prison authorities and the inspectors but they got no answer yet.”

“With lack of standards and conditions defined by prisons organization’s regulations in Maraghe prison the situation got worse and more tough for the prisoners as hygiene level is almost zero; The restrooms are so dirty, the showers almost not working and there is no air conditioning system; All of these together increase the risk of spreading different kinds of sicknesses among the prisoners.”

“On the other hand the doctor of the clinic refuses to provide proper treatment to the sick inmates and his excuse is not having enough medical treatments’ budget. The food has a very bad quality that even the inmates deny to eat it. This prison has not the basic entertainment facilities such as library and sport equipment; It is worth noting in this prison there is not any crime classifications and different wards for different verdicts, so all the inmates keep together regardless of their verdicts; It makes the condition intolerable for many inmates. All kinds of drugs are available in the wards and no control taking place by the authorities.”

The doctor who visited Sattar Beheshti is arrested


HRANA News Agency – Reza Heidarpour, the doctor of Evin prison who examined the body of Sattar Beheshti has been arrested and transferred to ward 209 on November 10.

According to a report by Kalameh website, Sattar Beheshti was sent to the clinic at entry of Evin prison and the reports of beatings and torture was inserted in his case by this doctor.

Every prisoner is regularly sent to the clinic when they enter the general ward of Evin prison and after basic examination a file is formed for each one.

According to this report, after reporting the torture signs on Sattar Beheshti’s body, doctor Heidarpour was not allowed to work in ward 350 which is the political prisoners’ ward and he was sent to the financial ward. Finally the intelligence agents arrested him last week.

According to the political prisoners who had served their sentences in ward 350, doctor Heidarpour was one of the rare ones who provided medical treatment for the ill prisoners.

Sattar Beheshti, 32 years old, was arrested by the Cyber Police because of what he had written in his weblog last November.

FATA police is responsible to control the cyber space and Mr.Beheshti was charged with acting against national security.

He was severely beaten during arrest and died, and was buried in Robat Karim afterwards.

Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, Iran’s general prosecutor general confirmed that there were bruises on the body of Mr.Beheshti.

Meanwhile the coroner said in a report in October 2012 that that Sattar Beheshti died because of stress.

Abolfazl Abedini the political prisoner of ward 350 who had seen Sattar Beheshti went to the court as witness but was exiled to Ahwaz prison afterwards.

سه زندانی اهل سنت مجموعا به شش سال زندان محکوم شدند

حسین قادری، یوسف مرادی و آزاد سقزی سه تن از زندانیان عقیدتی اهل سنت در زندان رجایی شهر کرج از سوی دادگاه انقلاب هرکدام به دو سال زندان محکوم شدند.

بنا به اطلاع گزارشگران هرانا، ارگان خبری مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر در ایران، حسین قادری و آزاد سقز اهل جوانرود و یوسف مرادی اهل سرپل ذهاب تابستان سال ۱۳۹۱ توسط نهادهای امنیتی بازداشت و پس از گذراندن شش ماه در سلول انفرادی اداره اطلاعات به زندان رجایی شهر کرج منتقل شدند.
بعد از قریب ۱۶ ماه بلاتکلیفی روز گذشته طی حکمی از سوی شعبه ۲۸ دادگاه انقلاب تهران به ریاست قاضی محمد مقیسه‌ای هر کدام به دو سال حبس تعزیری محکوم شدند.
یک منبع مطلع به گزارشگر هرانا گفت: "این سه زندانی اهل سنت به اتهام محاربه از طریق هواداری از گروههای سلفی به حبس محکوم شده‌اند در حالی که تنها جرم ایشان تبلیغ در مساجد بوده است. ایشان هم‌چنین از حق داشتن وکیل در طی مراحل دادرسی محروم بوده‌اند."
وی هم‌چنین بیان داشت: "از آن رو که ایشان می‌گویند بی‌گناه هستند هر سه نفر نسبت به حکم صادره اعتراض کرده و تقاضای تجدید نظر در رای صادره را کرده‌اند."

Hassan Damirchi, the civil activist is arrested in Tabriz

– Hassan Damirchi (Azerbaijani music master) was arrested by the police and taken to an unknown place on November 4th.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the reason of the arrest is the six month imprisonment sentence which was already issued by the branch 3 of the revolutionary court of Tabriz.
Hamid Bagher Pour, chairman of the Third Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Tabriz said: documents such as tribal meetings at home and abroad, collecting donations without obtaining permission, theaching music and secret classes without permission, having relationship with ethnic separatist elements within and outside the country and meeting the ethnic prisoners who were released, with the purpose of admiration of their thoughts towards separatism, were the basis of the verdict.
The case was sent to the appeal court of East Azerbaijan province but exact sentence by the Court of Appeals, was confirmed.

It is to mention that professor Hassan Damirchi was arrested and convicted for his civil activities many times.

Also he was arrested and sentenced to 1 year in prison in 2006 at Azerbaijanis protest against the caricature published in Iran newspaper.

No medical treatment for Zeynab Jalalian

HRANA News Agency – Authorities of Diesel Abad prison of Kermanshah, rejected medical furlough request of Zeynab Jalalian, who is at the verge of blindness.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in response to bad physical condition of Zeynab Jalalian, prison authorities promised to send her to medical furlough one month ago.

Nevertheless, few days ago, she was informed that her request is rejected by security services and she cannot take any effective procedure.

This prisoner has been suffering from bad health condition, especially visual problem and recently has lost her sight.

Zeynab Jalalian was arrested by Kermanshah intelligence and security forces, in 2007, and first sentenced to death, and then to life prison.

This political prisoner has been under severe pressure and had gone to hunger strike several times.

Needed to be mentioned, earlier on a published report by media, reason of vision problems of Zeynab Jalalian was stated as stroke during interrogation.

Five more executions in Kermanshah

5 prisoners who were charged with murder have been hanged in Kermanshah Diesel Abad prison.

According to a report by ISNA, Mojtaba Maleki, the prosecutor of Kermanshah province said: “5 prisoners identified as “T-R”, “N-S”, “B-F”, “J-D” and “A-Sh” were all charged with murder and hanged in Kermanshah Diesel Abad prison.

According to this report they have been hanged some time ago.

HRANA has already announced the news of execution of 3 prisoners on charge of murder on Thursday, October 31, 2013.

A prisoner is hanged in Ahwaz

HRANA News Agency – A prisoner has been hanged on charge of drug trafficking in Ahwaz prison on Wednesday October 30.

According to a report by Khuzestan judiciary, the prisoner who is identified as Sharif-H was executed on charge of having 114 kg and 250 gr opium.

The revolutionary court of Ahwaz had issued this verdict which was confirmed by the general prosecutor of Iran as well.

4 death row prisoners are transferred to an unknown location


HRANA News Agency – Abdulamir Khanafereh, Ghazi Abbasi, Abdulamir Mojdami and Jasem Moghadampanah were transferred to an unknown location, Sunday at 12 o’clock in the afternoon.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), four Arab citizens of Shadegan town, who have been sentenced to death by revolutionary court, are transferred to an unknown location.

Local human right activists are concerned about transferring these prisoners to an unknown location, as carrying out of their execution in secrecy is probable.

According to primary sentence of branch number one of Ahwaz revolutionary court, governed by the judge Ali Farhadvand, 7 of the citizens of Fallahiyeh (Shadegan) town were put on trial in October 2012, on charge of “denying God and corruption on land”, in which 4 of them were sentenced to death and three others were sentenced to life prison. These sentences were confirmed by Supreme Court, with governance of Judge Reza Farajollahi, on February 13, 2013.

Last week, after sudden transfer of Habibollah Golpouri, his execution had been performed. At the meantime, one prisoner in Salmas, and 8 Balouch political prisoners were executed by the order of Balouchestan court

A man and a woman were executed in Rajai Shahr prison


HRANA News Agency – One woman whose charge was murdering a police officer who wanted to rape her, was executed as well as a man prisoner on Rajaei Shahr prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), four prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement to be executed last Tuesday.

First defendant, Mitra Shahnavazi had been transferred from Gharchak-Varamin prison. She was captivated on charge of killing a police officer who had sexual motives 11 years ago and was hanged last Wednesday.

The other defendant was from ward 4 of Rajaei Shar prison, with the name of Rahbar, with charge of contemplated murder, and was kept for 8 years in prison. He was transferred to solitary confinement on Tuesday evening, and was hanged on Wednesday morning.

Both Milad Ostakhdem from ward 6, and Alireza Alipoor from ward 2, could get more time from theirs plaintiffs, and execution has been postponed.

One of the prisoners of Rajaei Shahr told to HRANA`s reporter on Wednesday: “Today at dawn, near 6 o’clock, the prisoners whose wards are located near clinic woke up from the scream of a woman who was supposed to be executed. Prisoners are so depressed by hearing these voices.”

Another source told to HRANA’s reporter: “Mitra Shahnavazi was sick and in a very bad health condition. We could not believe they did not show any mercy to this woman. She had spent 11 years in prison in a suspended situation. She had murdered a police officer to protect herself.

Shirku Maarefi, the Kurdish political prisoner is executed


HRANA News Agency – Shirku Maarefi, the Kurdish political prisoner has been executed in Saghez prison this morning.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shirku Maarefi the political prisoner who was sentenced to death by the revolutionary court of Saghez has been executed this morning.

He had been transferred to the solitary some hours before and was executed in the meeting hall of Saghez central prison.

One of his relatives confirmed the reports about his execution and told to HRANA’s reporter: “We were in front of the door of Saghez central prison but the authorities did not give us his body. One the authorities told us that they will give us the body if go in the evening. We hope they are honest and will let us have funeral.”

Shirku Maarefi, born in Baneh, had been arrested in 2007 and was sentenced to death on charge of cooperation with Kurdish opposition parties.

His case was sent to branch 4 of the appeal court of Kurdistan province which confirmed the death verdict as well as the Supreme Court.

There had been 10 political prisoners executed in Zahedan, Uremia and Salmas prisons last week.

6 prisoners are hanged in Kerman and Bam

HRANA News Agency – 6 prisoners have been hanged on charge of drug trafficking in Kerman.

According to a report by IRIB, the prosecutor of Kerman said that these prisoners were sentenced to death on charge of having and trafficking drugs including opium, heroin and morphine.

These prisoners’ request for forgiveness was rejected and they were hanged after the confirmation of the head of the judiciary.

7 Sunnis are summoned to the court after 4 years being under arrest


HRANA News Agency – Seven Sunni political and conscience prisoners have been summoned to branch 6 of Moghadas court and after 4 years of limbos they were informed that their case is archived.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mamousta Farhad Salimi, Davood Abdollai, Anvar Khazri, Ghasem Abeste, Khosrou Besharat, Kamran Shaikheh and Ayoub Karimi have been summoned to branch 6 of Moghadas court in Evin prison on Sunday November 4.

An informed source told to HRANA’s reporter: “finally, after 4 years of limbo, Mamousta Farhad Salimi and 6 others have been taken to Moghadas court in Evin prison but they faced a strange response from Mr. Naseri, the persecutor. The persecutor was trying to convey he is surprised that how during 4 years these seven prisoners did not have even one summon to court while he was shaking his head. And even though two months ago Kamran Shaikheh, Khouso Behsrat and Anvar Akhzari were exonerated from the case they are not released and have been sent back to Rejaei Shahr prison.”

He continued: “Persecutor stated that their files have been archived by intelligence and security service and that organization prevented the court from processing the case. But persecutor promised to summon them within 10 days.”

These prisoners of conscience have been kept in solitary confinement of intelligence and security service of Uremia for 8 months after arrest. Then, they have been transferred to solitary confinements of ward 240 and 209 of Evin prison.

After 6 month being in solitary confinement they were first transferred to ward 350 and then after 20 days, to Rajaei Shahr prison in Karaj on April 13 2012

پنج نفر در زندان دیزل آباد کرمانشاه اعدام شدند

خبرگزاری هرانا - پنج زندانی متهم به قتل در زندان دیزل آباد کرمانشاه اعدام شدند.
به گزارش ایسنا، مجتبی ملکی دادستان استان، اظهارکرد: پنج نفر از محکومین به قتل به نامهای «ت– ر»، «ن – ص»، «ب – ف» و «ج – د»، «الف، ش» همگی به جرم قتل و محکوم به قصاص در زندان مرکزی کرمانشاه اعدام شدند.
به گزارش روابط عمومی دادگستری استان کرمانشاه، اجرای حکم این اعدامی ها مربوط به چندی پیش است.
لازم به ذکر است، نهم آبان ماه نیز هرانا خبر از اعدام سه زندانی متهم به قصاص در این زندان داده بود.

یازده نفر در زندان مرکزی ارومیه اعدام شدند

خبرگزاری هرانا - نه زندانی مرد به همراه دو زندانی زن هشتم آبان ماه در زندان مرکزی ارومیه اعدام شدند.
بنا به اطلاع گزارشگران هرانا، ارگان خبری مجموعه فعالان حقوق بشر در ایران، یدالله محمودی، ولی محمد‌زاده، کامل سعیدی، کامل حبیبی، زکی خانی، محمد گُرجی، مصیب ساداتی از جمله اعدام شدگان در این زندان بودند.
از اتهام اعدام شدگان اطلاعی در دست نیست. دو تن از اعدام شدگان از بند نسوان زندان مرکزی ارومیه بوده اند.
بر اساس گزارشات رسیده بیش از ۱۷۰ زندان متهم به قصاص در این زندان نگهداری می‌شوند که احکام ایشان مورد تائید قرار گرفته است

A man and a woman were executed in Rajai Shahr prison

A Kurdish prisoner receives death sentence

HRANA News Agency – The supreme court has confirmed the death sentence of a political Kurd prisoner and he is at the danger of imminent execution.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mansur Azvand’s , the Kurdish political prisoner who is kept in ward 12 of Uremia central prison, death sentence was confirmed by the supreme court and was sent to him in prison.

Mansur Azvand from Mahabad Kurds was arrested in June 2011 at his home on charge of cooperation with one of the dissident Kurdish opposition parties. In September 2011, he was sentenced to death by branch 1 of the revolutionary court in Mahabad.

The prisoner’s brother told the HRANA ‘s reporter: “last week, our father was summoned to the security and was threatened by the intelligence agents who were telling that they are going to execute Mansur.”

“The supreme court has confirmed my brothers’ death sentence for the 3rd time now.” He said.
